Kombat Arts is not only Mississauga’s best MMA gym, it is one of the Greater Toronto Area’s most elite fitness centres. This year we’ve been adding to our strength and conditioning programs with more Konditioning sessions, Dynamic Stretch and Flex, TRX Training, and Modern Savage Training.
We’re not done yet. Starting August 3 is Kombat’s latest daytime offering, Functional Fight Strength Training with Coach Gaetan Boutin of Pro Sport Conditioning.
Functional Fight Strength Training is an intermediate class that will teach fighters a wide variety of strength and power training techniques based on professional-level functional training principles. The 60-minute class will begin with a dynamic warm-up, include an array of intense resistance training exercises and finish with a general cool-down stretch.
A heavy focus will be placed on advanced resistance training using barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands and bodyweight exercises, to help fighters build a solid strength foundation for:
- Increased Strength
- Improved Power Development
- Enhanced Directional Linked Strength
- Increased Mobility and Flexibility
- Improved Strength Endurance
- Increased Core Strength
- Maximum Performance Development
