Jun Fan is the name given to the fighting methods and techniques adopted, adapted and developed by the late Bruce Lee. Through his personal experience, Sigung Lee found that many arts and styles had impressive techniques to offer but no one art was able to cover all areas of defence.

This non-traditional, philosophical approach to combat is known as Jeet kune Do. Over the years our particular style of JKD has evolved to encompass components from CSW, Kali, Muay Thai boxing, Savate, Boxing and Jun Fan Gung Fu.

History
Sigung Lee traveled all over the world studying various martial arts styles such as Wing Chun, western Boxing, Savate, Tai-Chi Chuan, Judo, Jiu-Jitsu and many others. His formulated method sought to include only techniques that were economical in motion, and would allow for proficiency in all ranges of combat. Thus, Jun Fan was born. In 1967 Jun Fan adopted the name Jeet June Do (JKD). The key difference between JKD and Jun Fan is that Jun Fan has a prearranged style of fighting, one that Bruce believed to be the most efficient at the time.
