Description
The sparring class is where you can test all the techniques you have learned from all your Muay Thai, Savate, Boxing and MMA classes. We spar progressively from hands, feet, clinch, and finally using all weapons together. This class is conducted in a full size 20’ X 20’ raised ring or in our MMA training cage.

History
There has always been a need to test our skills without the fear of being badly injured or hurt. The Kombat Arts Training Academy created the Sparring Class to give fighters, beginners to advanced, an arena to fine tune and test their skills in a safe and fun environment.

Class Format
There is usually a dynamic warm up to insure that the students’ whole body is warmed up. Progressive sparring follows, varying from week to week. Each student is given advice accordingly to improve their game. The class finishes with a full contact sparring session using all weapons. Each round is 2 to 3 minutes long with 30 to 60 seconds break.

Attire
Top/pants/shorts, headgear, 16 oz. boxing gloves, handwraps, mouthpiece, shin pads, groin protection/cup, wrestling/martial arts shoes or barefeet
