What is wrestling?

Wrestling is a sport in which two unarmed opponents grapple with one another. The goal is to cause the opponent to lose balance and fall to the floor by throwing or tripping, and to ultimately pin the opponent’s shoulders to the floor through the use of body grips, strength, and leverage.

If you are a grappling-oriented fighter it gives you the tools you need to get your opponent to the ground.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu: Wrestling is a major part of BJJ as it allows you to control your opponent from the start. In competition, the points given for takedowns can make the critical difference that leads to victory.

Fitness: Wrestling is a whole body workout that especially strengthens the core. It uses both explosive and static strength.
