Roberto Mastromarini started training at the early age of six as Kombat Arts’ first Mini Dragons student. Under the tutelage of Hector Perez, Roberto learned that the only limitations in life are ones that are self-imposed. His strong desire to continually learn has made him the martial artist he is today.
As a student of the Mini Dragons program Roberto was exposed to many areas of martial arts including grappling and kickboxing. At the age of 10 under the instruction of Joey de Los Reyes, Roberto developed his passion as a kickboxer, excelling in the arts of Savate and Muay Thai. In 2008 Roberto began assisting Hector Perez with the Mini Dragons program and continues to teach Kombat’s young dragons as an instructor.
Roberto has had the privilege to train with many champions including Kru Medhi Pouroskoui, George St. Pierre, BJ Penn, Matt Serra, Guy Mezger and Rob Kaman, to name a few.
Aside from martial arts Roberto is actively involved in hockey and participates in various other sports such as baseball and golf.
