Beauchamp WorldMastersBJJ Brian Beauchamp of Mississauga, Ontario won five straight matches, by submitting all of his opponents and in the process won double gold at the 2009 World Masters Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Championships in Rio. Traveling to the home of Jiu Jitsu and deep into the heart of Brazil he fought with the confidence of a defending champion. “ When I compete it is just not for myself, I carry the weight of my training partners, home club, supporters and family on my shoulders. Beauchamp, a Toronto Firefighter, is a 3rd degree Black Belt in Judo and a former member of the Canadian National Judo Team.  He just started competing  in Jiu Jitsu just over three years ago while on vacation in Florida with his family. With this victory he was promoted to BJJ brown belt in Brazil by Master Fabricio Martins 6th Degree and is on course to earn his BJJ black belt in under 5 years.  He is currently training at his home club in Mississauga , Kombat Arts Training Academy which is the largest mixed martial arts facility in Canada..
