Ok, I had posted here that I wanted to gain 8 lbs by July 1. I also wanted to maintain some functionality and that was pretty subjective. So on July I jumped on the scale and weighed in at exactly 160 lb! Boy what a struggle! Right off the bat I want to say thanks to Nuno de Salles from Sweat Elite for his coaching. There were times when I wanted to stop and give him a good kick, but I was frankly too tired :) I loved the fact that Nuno would text me every 2 hrs demanding that I eat. Basically he gave me a license to go on the Michael Phelps diet. Thanks to Gaetan Boutin from ProSportConditioning for the nutritional info! Even there are many examples of me straying from this. GO HERE TO SEE SOME OF MY GAINS AND SOME TIPS I LEARNED ABOUT THIS JOURNEY. My next goal will be to maintain this weight, than maybe go up to 165 and get back into grappling and more weapons ;) jD
