In the last UFC, a few of the athletes got knocked out or really stunned when they tried to exchange with their chin up in the air. Leading with your chin is a sure way to get hit. Two things that can help are 1) practice punching while moving your head slightly off the center line and 2) ALWAYS practice having your chin down, especially during exchanges and especially after a combo. It's quite typical to see students hitting the bag with a combo, and immediately stepping back from the bag, hands down, chin up. The way you practice is the way you will spar or fight! As some of you know, I LOVE watching K1 Max. I'm going to share some KO highlights from 2009. These guys can BANG! jd [youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3CJFwMXDiU]
