Malaipet is considered to be one of the best Muay Thai fighters on the planet and a master of the clinch. This seminar will focus on actual techniques Malaipet uses when fighting. Learn the secrets of clinching and elbowing- key skills for Muay Thai and MMA fighting. He will also explore the strategies of ring fighting, bridging the gap, drawing your opponent in and training for speed and power. You will learn advanced techniques that actually work in the ring. Biography Born in Thailand, Malaipet started training at the age of 8 in Muay Thai. He has a pro record of 169 fights with 137 of those fights being wins. Malaipet fought in Thailand for a large majority of his career and became the Rajadamnern Stadium Champion. One of the few Thai fighters to leave Thailand, Malaipet moved to California to pursue an international career. He is the current WBC Welterweight Muay Thai champion. Malaipet is also one of the few champion Thai fighters to bridge the gap and move into professional MMA. Even though Malaipet has lived in California for the last 10 years, he was chosen to represent Thailand in the upcoming season two of Contender Asia.
