If you're not excited about Nick Diaz defending his Strikeforce welterweight belt against Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos this Saturday, it might be because you've never seen this 2006 Cage Rage fight between Cyborg and Melvin Manhoef. In 2009 Sherdog named this the most unforgettable brawl in MMA history. And while it certainly is a brawl, these guys are more than just two sluggers with granite chins. They're also legit striking technicians -- Manhoef training Muay Thai in kickboxing hub Amsterdam and being one of the top strikers in K-1, and Cyborg coming from the revered Chute Boxe Academy in Brazil that gave us Shogun Rua, Anderson Silva, and Wanderlei Silva. That means there are a couple of really slick combos (before it turns into blind swinging) and overall tight technique (in between the hands-at-the-waist gasps for air) to behold here.
