The already highly decorated Dan Henderson just added another title to his career collection. He's 40 years-old and not only one of the all-time bests to ever do it, he's now the current Strikeforce light-heavyweight world champion. Clap for him.
Marloes Coenen successfully deterred Liz Carmouche's plan to take home the women's welterweight strap, but Bloody Elbow reports it wasn't easy. Coenen definitely has the heart of a champion. Keep an eye on Carmouche though -- with only six fights to her name and less than a year of pro fight experience, she's already taken it to a world champ and gone past the third round. This loss is still a step forward, and it's only upwards for her from here.
