Last week (Aug 18,19,20) the Kombat Arts Boxing team made a trip to Kansas City to participate in one of the largest international amateur boxing tournaments in the world, the Ringside World Championship.  1,500 plus fighters over 3 day tournament. Five fighters participated and here are the results:

  • Mohammed Abedeen - 1st place Belt- Open Class
  • Kareem Hackett - 1st place Belt - Novice
  • Mehdi Abidi - 1st place Belt - Novice
  • Lex Bates - 2nd place Medal - Open Class
  • Ricky Stagg - 2nd place Medal - Novice
All the fighters stepped it up and took on the best competition from all over the world. Good job guys! That's how we roll!!!
