Beat the Crap out of Cancer was a big success this year. Led by team leaders and event organizers Tyler Morin and Rene Cocolo, participants raised over $10,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society. (Last year's inaugural event raised $7,800.) Big thanks to all donors, participants, spectators, organizers and on-hand staff. Sister events were also organized in California, Illinois, Hawaii and the UK. It's really amazing to see the Dog Brothers motto, "Be friends at the end of the day," embodied at great sparring events for important causes. Kombat Arts instructor Barry Lee snapped a bunch of photos that captured the spirit of the day: [gallery] To see all the photos, visit Barry's Facebook albums: Beat the Crap out of Cancer 2 Beat the Crap out of Cancer 2 part 2 If you're interested in learning more about the Dog Brothers and Filipino martial arts, visit our info page and contact us for a free week of classes.
