The world of combat sports lost a good one yesterday with the passing of "Smokin" Joe Frazier, who died after a short struggle with liver cancer. An Olympic gold medal winner with a bruiser's style, unreal work ethic and a left hook from hell, Frazier's trilogy of battles and on-again, off-again rivalry with Muhammad Ali, as well as bouts with Buster Mathis, George Chuvalo, George Foreman and more, is the stuff of legendary careers.
