Big congratulations go out this week to bantamweight MMA athlete Frank Marques. After a successful 2-0 run as an amateur, Marques made an impressive pro debut against Quebec's Maxime Fecteau at InstinctMMA: Instinct Fighting 2 last Friday. A highly decorated BJJ player, Marques submitted his opponent with a guillotine at 3:41 of the first round.
Unfortunately, I don't have any pics or video footage to share of the event, but for a glimpse of Marques' submission skills check out this instructional clip where he demonstrates the kimura.
