Bully Be Gone is an anti-bullying organization in association with the Kombat Arts Training Academy's Mini Dragons (martial arts for kids) program. It programs and facilitates non-profit seminars to enforce bullying awareness and prevention. We held our inaugural event on September 22, 2012. Bully be Gone addresses all forms of bullying but the focus for this project deals with our community's youth. Through our program director’s vision, our expert speakers and instructors focus on the culture and driving principles of the Mini Dragon and Teen Team program at Kombat Arts to promote an anti-bullying culture. Our first event featured a free seminar in the spirit of giving back to the community. The workshop included a combination of tactical training, conditioning and open discussion with participants. We included expert presentations, special guest speakers including UFC athlete Alistair Overeem, raffle prizes (generously donated by a range professional organizations), a free “Bully Proof” t-shirt and a barbeque. And we're just getting started. We want to fill our schoolyards with healthy, happy, caring, and confident young students. Cast a vote and help us spread the Bully Be Gone movement across Canada.
