The term South Paw, actually comes from baseball, and was later adopted into the boxing world. It usually refers to an athlete that fights with the right leg forward; an unorthodox stance.
South Paws are hard to adjust to and fight. When was the last time you trained against a South Paw? On the other hand, they "Live" in a right handed world, so they get tons of practice.
South Paws usually have a hard time starting out in the striking arts, but eventually they end up causing mayhem for orthodox fighters. And they are hard to beat. So here are some strategies that will help you. Enjoy and good luck!
