Kombat Arts and The Mississauga Steelheads Helping Bring Awareness to Mental Illness
On Friday, February 26th, at 7:30pm at the Hershey Centre, Kombat Arts and the Mississauga Steelheads will be out in full force to support our local community to help bring awareness to mental illness. Come out and support the CMHA Talk Today event.
Mental illness affects thousands of people every day. It's not always visible, not always easy to identify. What's worse, the person who is suffering from mental illness often feels like they are the only one who feels this way, and their battle is fought alone. We at the Kombat Arts Training Academy refer to each other as "Kombat Family". And families are there to support those who need it. If you feel that you are alone, and your battle is against yourself, please, talk to someone. You are not alone.
Kombat Arts Training Academy prides itself as not only a martial arts training facility, but as a community within a community. And we strive to give back to the great community at large that we are a part of. We support our own athletes, as well as all athletes and people in the GTA.
We urge all Kombat family members to come out and support this important event. Bring your family and friends. We want the Kombat Section to be full to the brim!
