Twenty-five years in, and we are still producing champions. Kombat Arts Training Academy sent a squad to the WAKO Canadian Kickboxing Nationals, and our athletes delivered one of the most memorable competitive performances in our academy's history. Five competitors stepped onto the national stage — and five of them came home with medals. This is what 25+ years of martial arts excellence in Mississauga looks like. Noah put together an outstanding performance in the Intermediate Kick Light -79kg division, showcasing the technical striking and fight IQ that comes from training under world-class coaches. Gold at the national level — a statement performance from a rising competitor. Guiseppe matched Noah's brilliance with a dominant run through the Intermediate Kick Light -74kg bracket, bringing home Gold with composure and skill. Watching two Kombat Arts athletes both take the top spot in their respective Kick Light divisions on the same day — that is something special. Adam competed in one of the most demanding formats in competitive kickboxing — Senior K1 — and earned a Bronze medal at -60kg. K1 rules require fighters to be complete strikers, and Adam's performance on a national stage shows exactly that. A fantastic result and a foundation to build on. Rohan stepped into the Senior K1 -63.5kg division and left with Gold. Competing at the senior K1 level nationally is no small feat — it demands technical striking, conditioning, and ring intelligence. Rohan delivered all of it. An elite performance from an elite competitor. Joel put the next generation of Kombat Arts fighters on the map with a Gold medal performance in the Junior B Low Kick division. His hunger, athleticism, and composure throughout the competition were well beyond his years. The future is bright. Results like these are the product of years of commitment — from the athletes and from the coaching staff who pour everything into preparing them. Your preparation, corner work, technical expertise, and belief in these athletes made this happen.
