MISSISSAUGA – The Kombat Arts Training Academy is excited to host a talk and meet and greet with UFC heavyweight contender Alistair “The Reem” Overeem, the most decorated heavyweight in the history of combat sports.
One of the highest trending and most talked about UFC superstars, Overeem will draw upon his experience training and competing all over the world to deliver a talk on anti-bullying, touching on topics of self-confidence, awareness and mental toughness.
Youth and teens are encouraged to attend to learn about what years of training in the martial arts have taught Overeem about life.
“The Reem” is a Dutch kickboxing specialist and former Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion, Dream Heavyweight Champion, K-1 World Grand Prix Champion, and is celebrated as the only combat sports athlete to hold professional world titles in both mixed martial arts and K-1 kickboxing at the same time. He is currently signed to the UFC and is ranked among the top five heavyweights in the world.
