Caros Fodor pressured and swarmed James Terry to win the main event at Strikeforce Challengers 16 last night. Asking for a step-up in competition during his post-fight interview, Fodor wants and deserves to graduate from Challengers to the regular Strikeforce cards.
Ryan Couture on the other hand saw his stock drop with a loss to Matt Ricehouse, who played a smart, reserved game, controlling the center of the cage and negating Couture’s heavy movement and in-and-out strategy.
The performance of the night belonged to Lorenz Larkin, who continues to impress with his intelligent and explosive striking skills. Still just 24-years-old and building a solid, undefeated record, he’s definitely one to check out. Hopefully he’s developing his wrestling and ground game.
