Competitive Boxing cancelled Saturday, Coach Ray Olubowale defending title
Competitive Boxing at Kombat Arts is cancelled for this Saturday, June 23, as Coach Ray Olubowale is set to defend his CPBC Heavyweight Championship title against New Brunswick’s Julien Collette. This week’s Thursday wrestling class is cancelled as coach Shawn Geris will be celebrating his birthday. Happy Birthday to Shawn!
Kombat Arts closed for Victoria Day long weekend
The Kombat Arts Training Academy in Mississauga will be closed from Saturday, May 19 until Monday, May 21 for the Victoria Day long weekend. All classes are cancelled and the facility will be closed. Have a fun, safe weekend and we’ll see you again on Tuesday when KATA returns to business as usual.
Kombat closed on Mother’s Day
The Kombat Arts Training Academy in Mississauga is closed on Sunday, May 13, for Mother’s Day. All classes are cancelled and there will be no access to the facility.
Schedule Changes: Tuesday wrestling classes on hiatus
Effective this week, Tuesday wrestling is on hiatus until September so coach Dave Mair can help his professional MMA athletes get ready for action. Wrestling still will run as scheduled on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Special BJJ class being held on Friday
Kombat Arts is closed on Saturday due to the Dan Inosanto seminar, so we’ll be holding a substitute no-gi BJJ class this Friday at 7:00 p.m. For more information on Guro Dan Inosanto’s return to Mississauga for a can’t-miss two-day seminar, check here.
