Train for competitive boxing in Mississauga: New class at Kombat Arts

The Kombat Arts Training Academy will be adding Competitive Boxing classes to its schedule starting on Tuesday, June 19. This new program will offer championship-level instruction taught by heavyweight pro boxer Ray “Mount Kilimanjaro” Olubowale.

This is a class for those that wish to train at a competitive level and those that are looking to compete in boxing. Those who wish to eventually compete will be required to register with Boxing Ontario.

Equipment requirements will vary according to training experience, but you will eventually need to invest in your own headgear, mouthpiece, handwraps, bag gloves, 14 to 16 oz. sparring gloves and groin protection.

Competitive Boxing

Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays @ 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
and Saturdays @ 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Classes begin on Tuesday, pre-registration required.
