Updates From Kru: Thanks to departing instructors and notes on the future

More big changes are happening at Kombat Arts in 2012. For the lowdown on all the exciting things to come, please read this important note from Kru/Sifu Joey:

Hey guys, I would like to thank Scott Lewis and Rafael Delgado for all the time and dedication they gave to Kombat Arts. Thanks, guys. We will miss you and we wish you well in your new endeavors.

I am very happy to announce some new additions to our staff. We are very happy to be adding Amir Yafawi, Frank Marques and Shyam Tanna to the Kombat Team. Frank will be contributing to our MMA program and Amir and Shyam will be cultivating our BJJ program.

I am very excited to see the new direction that our BJJ program will be going in. What can you expect? Right off the bat you can expect the following:

-You will know when gradings will be held and what is exactly expected of you for these gradings
-Instructors that will be paying attention to you and the fine details of your technique
-Instructors that understand how to train athletically and are on the cutting edge of training methodology and techniques
-An open invitation for other BJJ and grappling groups to come and train with us; to foster a community were students can socialize and freely exchange training ideas.

Yes, there will be some slight changes to the schedule, so please be a bit patient.

**Two changes will be that we are cancelling the Wednesday BJJ class and moving the 8:00 p.m. MMA class to 7:00 p.m.

I will be posting these changes in the next few days and I will also be posting our new instructor’s bios.

Thanks guys…moving forward as usual. Daruma 😉
