Pro Sparring is similar to Regular Sparring but it consists more of a series of back and forth combinations, whereas regular sparring is more unpredictable or random. Pro sparring can be a set number of strikes, such as 2 for 2 or 3 for 3, or as in this video an unknown set but back and forth. What I often notice around the gym is people always doing regular sparring. While there is nothing wrong with that I think it is also good to incorporate different types of sparring such as hard, light, pro and defensive. This will help keep all of your skills sharp.
