  • Kru Mehdi Preparing for His 3rd Muay Thai Championship Belt!

    Hey guys,  I will be gone this week to help my Kru, Mehdi Pouroskoui  at his club in Vancouver prepare for his upcoming championship bout.  Mehdi is the #1 contender for the World Professional Muay Thai Federation champion belt, and will be fighting mid-December in Thailand.  I flew in on Friday night, and hanged with my good buddy Josip Juros.  We prepped ourselves on Saturday for the hard upcoming week of pad holding, crossfighting and sparring by playing Call of Duty 5 :) [youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QB9ApSJ9nJo] After a grueling day of XBOX, Josip and I finalized the day with the new James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace ....

  • Congrats Mississauga BJJ Athletes!

  • Mississauga & Brampton Muay Thai Athletes Victorious at Provincials!

      The Kombat Arts Thai boxing Team did very well at the CASK Thai boxing Provincials held in Kingston.  It was a great event and there are a lot of people that we have to thank.  Thanks to Maz and the CASK organization for putting in the time and effort for a great event.  Thanks to David, Sly, Roberto, Rafael and Lee for all of the attention they gave to all of the athletes and for working the corner.  Thanks to Brian for officiating at this event.  Thanks to all of the coaches and sparring partners that are too numerous to mention here.  Ok here is the summary of the weekend: Kareem Hamilton won his match in the 1st round due to referee stoppage.  He won the Provincial Championship ....
